Rice -- Heady veteran player who could be a strong leader on the Owl defense as a senior if healthy... Ended spring drills as a backup to Lance Byrd at one cornerback position. 2004: Played in only two games after being injured early in the season, and did not letter... Had two tackles on the season, both in the victory over Hawaii. 2003: Returning starter at cornerback, playing in all 12 games as a sophomore... Had 24 tackles (16 primary), including one for a three-yard loss in the win over UTEP... Had a career-high five tackles at Fresno State...
