Rice -- Returning starter who emerged as a team leader in the spring... Listed as the starter at left guard entering August practice. 2004: Played in 10 games (all starts) as a sophomore... Part of the front line at right guard which helped the Owls lead the nation in rushing average. 2003: Earned his first letter, playing in all 12 games as a backup offensive lineman... Had his first start at Fresno State at left guard... Helped the Owl offense rank second nationally in rushing average. 2002: Redshirt.
