Rice -- Walk-on who returns for his senior season as a reserve on the offensive line.
2008: Saw action at center against North Texas and at guard at Tulane and in the Texas Bowl against Western Michigan.
2007: Reserve on the offensive line.
2006: Valued reserve on the offensive line... Member of the Student Owl Club and Catholic Student Association.
2005: Redshirt.
High School -- 2005 magna cum laude graduate of Clear Lake High in Houston... Two-year starter for coach Troy Aduddell on the offensive line... Honorable mention all-District 24-5A and first-team academic all-state... Great Houston scholar-athlete of the year finalist... Helped the Falcons to two district championships and a state semifinal berth in 2004 with a 13-2 record... Also competed in the discus in track... Had a 4.48 high school GPA (4.5 scale)...
