Rice Owls Mobile Ticketing Guide

Rice Athletics is transitioning to mobile ticketing as the default option for all season and single-game tickets.
Please review the information below for further instructions on how to access and utilize your mobile tickets.
Important Mobile Ticketing FAQs
Why are we transitioning to mobile ticketing?
- Ease of Use
- With mobile tickets, you can easily manage, transfer, or sell your tickets any time. There’s no waiting in line at will call or worrying about shipping delays as there are with physical tickets.
- Flexibility
- Any changes made to event dates and times are reflected immediately on mobile tickets to keep you the most up-to-date.
- Security
- Using mobile tickets is the safest and most convenient way to manage your tickets, while protecting against fraudulent and duplicate tickets.
Paciolan Account Retrieval (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Go to riceowls.evenue.net/signin
- Input your email address that you have previously used to access your digital tickets in the past or that was uploaded to the ticket system. Note: If you are getting the “Account not found” error, please contact the Rice Athletic Ticket Office for assistance.
- If your email is inputted correctly, you will land onto a page that will make you select “Send me a Code”.
- Select that button and you will receive an email with a code, please input that verification code on the popup window.
- Once completed, you will be asked to create a password. Note: You may continue without a password, but we recommend creating a password so you don’t have to receive another code if you wish to sign in at a later time.

Update Payment Information on Paciolan (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Once logged into your account, go to “My Account” then select “Manage Saved Credit Cards” or “Manage Saved Bank Account”.
- Input your payment information.
How do I access my mobile tickets?
Visit riceowls.evenue.net or download the Rice Owls Game Day App to access your tickets and log in using the email address that was used to purchase your tickets. Once you are logged in, tap the three lines in the top left. Select “My Account”. Your tickets will be under “My Upcoming Events”, select the game that you would like to view. From there, please download the ticket to your Google or Apple Wallet.
How do I use my mobile tickets at the stadium?
Once you arrive, simply present your ticket from your Apple Wallet or Google Pay to be scanned for entry. If you have more than one ticket downloaded to your phone, swipe between the tickets after scanning each one. Please note: Tickets saved on Apple Wallet will not have a barcode visible, but will say “Hold Near Reader.” Hold your phone near the reader to be scanned.
Can I print off mobile tickets? (Must Read)
- Print-at-home paper tickets (PDFs) will no longer be accepted in order to combat fraud and counterfeit tickets that are common with these types of tickets.
Can I screenshot mobile tickets? (Must Read)
No, screenshots of your mobile tickets will not be valid for entry.
Can I transfer mobile tickets? What if my party is arriving at different times?
Yes, simply log in to your account and access your tickets at riceowls.evenue.net/myaccount or on the Rice Owls Game Day app. Under “My Account”, select “Transfer Tickets". Transfer the desired tickets to the recipient then input their email or phone number. Please note: Tickets must be accepted by the recipient in order to be considered a valid ticket. If the recipient does not have a Paciolan account with Rice Athletics, they will need to create one using the email address the tickets were transferred to so they can accept the tickets.
What happens to the original tickets after they are transferred?
The original ticket will no longer be valid and will not be able to be scanned. Any transferred tickets can be recalled in your “My Account” tab at riceowls.evenue.net/myaccount or on the Rice Owls Game Day App as long as the recipient has not accepted the tickets.
Ticket Exchanges for Women's Sports Season Tickets
Your Women's Sports season tickets are available to be exchanged for any other regular season game within that season. Simply go to “My Account” and select “Exchange Tickets”. From there, please select the game that you would like to exchange as well as how many tickets from that event. After selecting “Next”, select the game that you want the ticket to go to. Once you select the game, click “Find Seats" then on the next screen select “Mobile Pass” as the delivery method. Select “Next” again, then confirm the exchange with “Yes, Submit Exchange”.

Please note that Women's Basketball Courtside seats AND West Lot 6 Parking Passes can not be exchanged.
What if I lose connectivity or can’t log in to my account?
We recommend adding your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay prior to arriving at the stadium to avoid any connectivity issues. If you still cannot access your tickets, please visit the ticket booth on game day for assistance.
What if my phone is dead, lost, or stolen and I need help accessing my tickets on game day?
Please visit the ticket booth for assistance on game day.
Can I use mobile tickets if I don’t have a smartphone?
No, mobile tickets require a smartphone for access. Call the Rice Ticket Office at 713-348-OWLS (6957) or email tickets@rice.edu for assistance. On game day, visit the ticket booth for assistance.
Who do I contact if I still need assistance?
The Rice Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and can be reached by phone at 713-348-OWLS (6957) or email at tickets@rice.edu. If assistance is needed on game day, please visit the ticket booth at Gates 1 or 4 at Rice Stadium.
