2008: Saw his first extensive work at running back since 2005 when he had five carries for 11 yards vs. North Texas... Streak of 15 consecutive games with a catch came to an end against SMU, caught one for six yards vs. Memphis... Third on the team with 95 career catches and needs five to become the ninth player in Rice history top 100 career receptions. 2007: Finished fourth on the team with a career-best 36 receptions... 18 of his 36 grabs resulted in first downs... Caught a pass in all 12 games during the year and has a streak of 15 straight heading into his senior year... Second on the team with 89 career catches, and needs 11 catches to become the eighth player in school history to top 100 career receptions... Tied his career-high with six catches against Tulane... Caught a career-long, 34 yarder against Tulsa... Caught a pair of TD passes against UTEP....three of his four career TD catches are against the Miners.
2006: Stepped into a prominent role after Mike Falco was injured and responded by catching 31 passes (third on the team) for 245 yards and a touchdown... Earned honorable mention recognition from the C-USA coaches for his efforts... Thirty-one catches would have led the Owls in 11 of the last 12 seasons... Caught a career-high six for 51 yards and his first touchdown against UTEP... Had five games with four or more catches. 2005: Played in 10 games with nine starts at H-back as a freshman... Second on the Rice squad with 22 receptions for 189 yards... Eight of the catches, for 66 yards, came against Navy, the most by any Owl during the `05 season... Three-year starter and letterman for coach Chris Ross... Two-time District 5-4A offensive MVP... Two-time all-district quarterback, and the league's sophomore of the year as a defensive back in `01... Gained 1,089 yards and scored 15 TDs rushing, and passed for 812 yards and nine TDs as a senior, helping the Coyotes to the Class 4A playoffs... The Red River 22 MVP as a junior, and first-team on that honor team as a senior... Second-team all-West Texas QB as a junior... Rushed for 2,290 yards and 30 TDs, and passed for 1,912 yards and 25 scores during his career at Old High, leading the Coyotes to three district titles... Member of the academic all-state team... Also competed in baseball and track... District MVP in baseball as a junior, and member of the Coyotes' 4x400-meter relay squad which qualified for the regional meet...
