Rice-- Opened the year as the starter at left offensive tackle and made seven starts before illness and an ankle injury limited his playing time...injury continued to plague him in the spring and he heads into fall camp listed as the No. 2 right tackle.

2007: Made his first career start in his first career collegiate action against Nicholls... started the first seven games this season to earn his first letter, then missed the Marshall and UTEP games with an illness...returned to play against SMU, but then injured an ankle and missed the final two games of the year.
