Rice: Returns to the field for the spring after sitting out the 2008 campaign rehabing an injury.
2008: Took a redshirt after injuring a knee the previous spring.
2007 : Saw action in all 12 games as both a special teams player and while lining up as a fullback in certain alignments... had his first special teams tackle against Texas Tech, and made the offensive statistics with his first career reception, good for 22 yards against SMU.
High School -- 2007 graduate of Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano... All-state TAPPS selection as a running back as a junior under coach Mike Hall... Quarterbacked the Lions to the 2005 Division III state... Missed most of his senior year with an injury after moving to quarterback... Earned all-district honors as a sophomore at wide receiver... Member of the International Thespian Society... Participated in church-sponsored mission trips to Cuba, Honduras, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
