2006: Made the successful transition from running back to linebacker, finishing fourth on the team with 65 tackles and earning Honorable Mention recognition from the conference's coaches...third on the squad with four sacks and tied for third on the team with eight tackles for loss...averaged three tackles over the first four contests, then doubled that over the last nine...top tackle game was a breakout performance vs. Tulsa, when he was credited with 13 stops, including a pair of sacks and a fumble recovery in the Owls 41-38 win in double overtime....broke up a pair of passes against UAB.

2005: Played in five games as a reserve running back... Gained 94 yards on 20 carries on the season... gained 29 yards on four carries against Tulsa, his top game of the season... Scored his only `05 touchdown on a one-yard run at UCLA... 2004: Played in seven games with three starts... Gained 311 yards on 43 carries, an average of 7.2 yards per attempt... Had 201 of those yards at San Jose State, scoring twice... His 86-yard TD run in that game was the sixth-longest run from scrimmage in Rice history... Also had two receptions for 20 yards, including a 12-yard gain against Fresno State... Had a 30-yard kickoff return at Texas. 2003: Played in all 12 games with three starts to earn his first letter... Rushed for 306 yards and one touchdown on 49 carries... Also a top sprinter for the Panthers' track team and varsity letterman in basketball... Academic honors and activities include the National Honor Society, membership in Mu Alpha Theta (national math honorary), scholar-athlete banquet honoree, and a four-year member of the A/B honor roll.
