Helped the Eagles to a 12-1 record in 2004 and a district championship... Also lettered in baseball and basketball for the Eagles... Two-time all-district and academic all-state in baseball... Had a 99.8 high school GPA (100.0 scale)... Member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society... Recruited by Navy, Texas A&M, Notre Dame and Houston.
