All-Conference USA second team selection by league coaches as well as by Phil Steele… Made the most of an offer from the coaches in 2018 to return for an additional season, being selected as a co-captain by his teammates and finishing second in C-USA with a 44.8 average on 35 punts, which ranks sixth in school history… Placed 11 of 35 punts inside the 20…Combined with Adam Nunez to rank 17th nationally with a 41.1 net punting average at the end of the regular season, one yard better than Rice averaged in 2018 with C-USA Special Teams Player of the Year Jack Fox... Had two punts of better than 60 yards, including a career best of 66 yards at UTSA… Had punts of 50 or better in seven of 11 games and at least one of 47 yards in each of his last 11 games … Added placekicking chores over the final eight games and converted 8 of his last 9 field goal attempts, including a career best from 48 yards vs. North Texas... First two successful field goals came vs. LA Tech, the second coming in overtime… Nominated for the Burlsworth Trophy which honors the too walk-on in college football.
