Saw his senior season cut short by injury… Saw action in seven games and was credited with five tackles… Top tackle efforts were a pair vs. Texas at NRG Stadium and two vs. Southern Miss.
2018
Seventh on the team with 45 tackles,despite missing two games with injuries.... Reached double figures in tackles for the first time with an 11-tackle effort vs. Houston... Made his first career start vs. Prairie View and was second on the team with six tackles, including his first career sack, and recovered a fumble to set up the Owls first score in their fourth-quarter rally.
2017
Earned his first letter in a reserve role in 2017 and enjoyed a solid spring after moving to linebacker… Made his debut vs. Stanford in the Sydney Cup and was credited with his first tackle at UTEP… Also picked up tackles at Houston, vs. FIU and at Pitt.
2016
Redshirted in his first season at Rice.
East Chambers High School
Offensive MVP of District 12-3A D1 as the Buccaneers were bi-district champions in his senior year... Compiled 21 touchdowns and over 1,200 yards on offense while being credited with over 60 tackles, five interceptions and one forced fumble as a senior... Named to the Beaumont Enterprise's Super Gold team... Had seven interceptions in his career as a three-year starter... Named the Defensive MVP of the district in basketball while leading the Bucs to the state title game... Also an all-district performer in baseball... Second team Academic All-State and a member of the National Honor Society... Regional finalist in the UIL Spelling competition... Coaches youth basketball and participates in bible study in his spare time.
