Grad transfer quarterback to took the starting reins over the last half of the season and guided the Owls to wins in his last three starts… Led the Owls with 1,054 yards passing, completing 60.1% of his passes (92-153-2) and eight touchdowns… 10th in C-USA with a 132.6 pass efficiency rating for all games and was ninth in conference games at 132.9… Also rushed for a pair of touchdowns… Threw for 516 yards and eight touchdowns while completing 65% of his passes (34-66-1) over the final three games… Did not see action in the opener at Army, but came on in relief of the injured Wiley Green vs. Wake Forest and then started the following week vs. Texas at NRG Stadium… Threw for 179 yards and a pair of short touchdowns to Aston Walter vs. the Longhorns… Was slated to return to the starting lineup vs. Southern Miss but was sidelined late in the week with back spasms, then returned to action at Middle Tennessee… Threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns against the Blue Raiders to lead the Owls to their first road victory in two years… Threw for 179 yards vs. North Texas the following week as the Owls snapped a 15-game losing streak in the western division of C-USA.
