Rice and UConn Set for 2 p.m. Start

Hall of Fame Weekend
Rice and UConn will kick off the third consecutive meeting between the schools in football at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25 at Rice Stadium with coverage provided by ESPN+. The game time and broadcast affiliate decisions were announced by the American Conference on Monday.
The game will be the centerpiece of Rice Athletics Hall of Fame weekend as the Owls will formally induct the latest class of inductees on Friday night and then recognize them again at halftime of the game.
Rice and UConn first met in football in 2023 at Rice Stadium with the Huskies taking a 38-31 win and the series continued last year in Hartford, Connecticut as UConn took the second straight one-score decision, 17-10. The fourth game of the series between the schools is scheduled for October 7, 2028.
Single game tickets for Rice's Hall of Fame weekend game against UConn are still available. In addition to the option to purchase individual game tickets, Owl fans also have the option to create their own customized mini plan.
