Did not see action while recuperating from an injury sustained during training camp.
2020
Played in all five games on both defense and special teams... Helped spur the initiative to create an early voting challenge by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner among local universities, using athletics facilities as voting locations. Rice Stadium saw more than 13,000 votes cast to win the challenge. Rice’s Jacob Doddridge educates others on the importance of voting (Houston Chronicle 11/11/20).

Played in all 12 games on both special teams and defense… Credited with three tackles, including his first career stop vs. Texas at NRG Stadium… Also credited with tackles vs. Baylor and North Texas.
2018
Saw action in three games on special teams and retained his redshirt... Moved to DE the following spring.
Southlake Carroll High School
All-District 5-6A as a both a tight end and defensive end (unanimous selection) for coach Hal Wasson at Southlake Carroll as the Dragons reached the 6A D2 quarterfinals... Named to the Associated Press 6A All-State second team and also named to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram All-Area team... Caught three touchdowns as a tight end and was credited with 68 tackles with 15 for loss (six sacks) and added 18 hurries and forced three fumbles... Finished his career with 163 tackles (34 for loss, 11 sacks)... Competed in wrestling as well and finished second at the 6A state tournament in the 220-pound division as a senior after finishing fourth as a junior...Served as a team captain in wrestling... Academic All-State and a member of the National Honor Society and one of eight Carroll senior boys selected by the faculty to represent the school as Green Jackets in a variety of school and civic events.
