Led the Owls in passing yards (2,102), attempts (266), completions (160), and touchdown passes (18) despite missing the season finale and the bowl game… Ranked seventh in C-USA in yards, tied for seventh in TD passes and ninth in both completions and attempts … 18 TD passes tied him with Driphus Jackson for seventh on the Owls’ season list… Averaged a touchdown pass every 8.9 completions (18 in 160), , the best mark by a Rice QB since Jackson tossed a scoring pass every 7.9 completions in 2014 (24 TDs in 191 completions)… Tied his career-high with 334 yards and threw two TD passes in the win over UTEP… Threw for three touchdowns and ran for a fourth to lead the Owls to a come-from-behind win at LA Tech... Starred in a relief role vs. LA Tech, completing 12 of 20 passes (one interception) for 191 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead a Rice rally and beat LA Tech... Trailing 31-21, he drove the Owls 92 yards for a score, connecting with August Pitre III on a 31-yard touchdown, and then with 1:01 left in the game he hit Cedric Patterson III with a three-yard TD to put the Owls in front to stay... Made his Rice debut holding for kicks at Arkansas and held that job the rest of the season. Took his first snap at Texas.
2020
Did not see action in his first season after transferring from Cerritos, but earned a letter as a member of the squad during the pandemic impacted season

Set a school record for completion percentage and led Cerritos to a 7-4 record and a win over Ventura College in the Joe Kapp Real Estate Beach Bowl… Completed 65.8% of his passes (194-of-295) for 2,667 yards and 24 touchdowns while throwing only five interceptions for coach Dean Grosfeld … His passing yards rank second in school history… Ranked as the 10th best pro-style JC QB by JCGridiron.com… First Cerritos product to sign with Rice since Jim Willard in 1980.

All Trinity League as a senior at Servite High School for coach Scott Meyer in his only season at quarterback… Threw for 2,155 yards and 22 touchdowns and ran for 1,003 and 13 scores after switching from wide receiver… Played against fellow Owl Jake Bailey in high school.
