2020
Named the winner of the 2020 OJ Brigance Courage Award... Started the final two games... Made his second career start in the upset of #15 Marshall and was credited with a career-best seven tackles (previous best had been four vs Marshall in 2019)... Credited with his first career sack in the opener vs. Middle Tennessee.
2019
Standout on special teams who made two of the more memorable defensive plays of the season while also earning his first career start at linebacker… Credited with a career-best 15 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss… First career solo TFL came while spoiling a reverse off a fake punt at UTSA resulting in a 10-yard loss and setting up a Rice touchdown… Second came on a reverse from scrimmage vs. Marshall for a loss of eight yards… Tied for the overall team lead with five special teams tackles and led team with five tackles on punt coverage.
2018
Limited early because of injuries, but saw action in nine games to earn his second letter.
2017
Lettered as a true freshman while handling the bulk of the Owls deep snapping chores… Made his debut vs. Stanford in the Sydney Cup in Australia… Credited with a pair of tackles vs. FIU and added a third at UTSA… Forced a fumble one of his tackles on punt coverage vs. FIU.
Richmond Foster High School
Second-team, All-state selection as both a junior and senior for coach Shawn McDowell, teaming with fellow Rice signee Isaiah Richardson to anchor a Falcons defense that sparked a berth in the 5A-D1 semifinals and 14-1 record... District 27-5A Defensive MVP and a finalist for the Touchdown Club of Houston's Defensive Player of the Year... Dave Campbell's Texas Football's preseason Texas Top 300 and DCTFB's 2016 Subway Super Team and Class of 2017... Posted 131 tackles, 30 TFL, 10 sacks, five fumble recoveries and three fumbles forced and a senior and concluded his career with 353 tackles, 74 TFL, 34 sacks, seven fumble recoveries, six fumbles forced, six blocked field goals and a pair of interception returns for touchdowns... Honorable mention THSCA Academic All-State.
