Led C-USA with a passer rating of 176.3 (14th nationally) and 267 yards per game (24th) through his first three games... Threw for 802 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first three games... 802 yards passing were the most in the first three games of a season for an Owl since Chase Clement threw for 875 in the first three in 2008 and are the most to open a C-USA season since Clement threw for 897 in his first three in 2008.... 802 yards were the most for an Owl in C-USA action for an Owl since Tyler Stehling threw for 1,412 in eight games in 2016... 10 TD passes in three games were the most over that span since Clement closed the 2008 regular season with 12 in the final three... They are the most in the first three games of a C-USA season since the Owls joined the conference in 2005 (Clement had nine in 2007 and 2008)... 10 TD passes in C-USA play were the most in a season since Driphus Jackson threw 14 in eight games in 2015 (Clement holds the record with 34 in 2008)... Matched his career high with four touchdown passes at Southern Miss, becoming the first Owls QB in school history to throw four touchdowns in the first two games of a season and the first since Chase Clement in 2008 to throw at least four in consecutive games in a season. Appeared in a pair of games (Kansas and Oklahoma State) and completed 3 of 5 passes for 49 yards in 2019... Ran the ball twice and scored an 11-yard touchdown vs. Kansas.
2018
Appeared in nine games with four starts ... Completed 56.4 percent (79-of-140) of his passes for 1,059 yards with six touchdowns and just two interceptions ... Made his first collegiate start at Kansas ... Completed 23-of-33 attempts for 351 yards and a touchdown while running for two scores as part of 33 yards rushing in the contest … His 351 yards passing were the most in a game among the four quarterbacks to play for TCU in the 2018 campaign ... Also made starts against Kansas State, West Virginia and Baylor ... Had a career-long 67-yard touchdown strike to Jalen Reagor for the go-ahead score in the second half of the 14-13 win over K-State ... Won three straight Connecticut state titles … as a senior named first-team all-state, first-team All-FCIAC, Hearst Connecticut Super 33 Team, Walter Camp All-Star and MSG Varsity All-Connecticut Team … threw for 3,414 yards and a Connecticut-record 54 touchdowns as a senior … threw for 89 career touchdowns, fifth most in Connecticut history.
