A redshirt freshman who played in 11 games (three starts) and was third on the team with 4.5 tackles for loss… Shared a TFL on his first snap of the year (and second of his career) vs. Army… Made his starting debut vs. Baylor and also started in the Owls’ wins over Middle Tennessee and North Texas… Credited with a career-best seven tackles vs. Marshall… Shared a sack vs. Marshall and was credited with a solo sack vs. North Texas for a loss of 11 yards.
2018
A member of Mike Bloomgren's first recruiting class... Named Player of the Week for the defensive scout team for his work before the Southern Miss game... Made his debut at LSU.
Ruskin High School
Named to the Class 5 All-State second team by both the Missouri Football Coaches Association and the media as a senior for Coach William Perkins... Led Ruskin to its first win in the state playoffs since 1991 with a 20-14 win over Raytown, despite suiting up just 19 players for the game... Earned third-team honors as a junior and was a three-year starter for the Golden Eagles... Wrestled as well in high school and was a state qualifier and all-district selection at 220 pounds... Named to the Principal's Honor Roll and also participates in marching band.
