Outdoor: Competed at nine meets...member of 4x400 relay team that earned points by placing seventh at the C-USA Championships...ran a season-best time of 57.92 in the 400m hurdles at the Tom Tellez Invitational...set a season-best time of 11.28 in the 100m at the Houston Alumni meet.

Former walk-on quarterback who earned a scholarship at the end of training came and saw action in a relief role vs. Southern Miss… Completed 2/5 passes for 27 yards vs. the Golden Eagles.
2018
Worked his way into playing contention and eventually a starting role with a strong spring and fall camp... Made his starting debut at FIU, completing 11-15 passes for 107 yards and adding 68 yards on 11 carries and scoring twice on the ground... Led the Owls on a 12 play, 75 yard scoring drive on the first possession of the game, capping it with a seven-yard TD run... Added a 22-yard touchdown in the third quarter before departing the game with an injury that forced him to miss the remainder of the season.. Made his debut vs. Hawai'i playing special teams... Saw his first action at quarterback vs. UAB in relief of Shawn Stankavage and completed 6-16 passes for 57 yards while rushing for seven net yards and having a long rush of 13.

Houston Christian High School
All-SPC and team MVP at Houston Christian for coach Max Bowman...Threw for 1,824 yards and 16 touchdowns while rushing for 10 more scores as a senior... Transferred to Houston Christian as a senior after two years under former Heisman winner Ty Detmer at St. Andrews High School in Austin... Threw for a combined 4,340 yards and 47 touchdowns and added 18 scores and 700 yards on the ground in his career... Earned All-SPC honors in track, finishing third at in the 200 meters (22.07) and the SPC state meet.
