Closed his fourth season with 29 career starts... Lead the team with a career-best nine TFL, including a pair of games with two... Credited with six tackles, two TFLs (one sack), and force the first fumble of his career at Charlotte... Recovered a fumble on UAB’s first play of the game to set up the Owl’s second TD against the Blazers... Opened the season with back-to-back double-figure tackle totals, the first Owl to open a season with consecutive games with double figures in tackles since Brian Raines in 2006... Second on the team with a career-best 83 tackles…Also recorded career-bests with five TFL, one sack, three PBU, and one forced fumble… Opened the season by setting a career-high with 11 tackles at Army and matched that total vs. Marshall and UTEP… Tied fellow linebacker Blaze Alldredge for the team lead with three double-digit tackle games during the year… Kicked the Owls' second PAT vs. Texas, becoming the first position player at Rice to score points from placekicks since Sam Hartman in 1989 and the first FBS position starter to kick a PAT in a game since LA Tech WR Trent Taylor kicked one vs. UTSA in 2016… Handled the kicking duties at Eden Prairie (MN) HS in his junior and senior seasons in addition to playing linebacker and fullback. He was 102/111 in PATs and 9/11 in field goals, with a long of 47 yards as a junior.
