2025: Saw action in 20 games and made 12 starts (10 as the DH, two at first base)… Made his debut with a start at DH in the opener against Villanova at the Puerto Rico Baseball Challenge in Ponce, Puerto Rico and was 1x3 with a sacrifice… Had four multi-hit games in his first nine starts with two against USC, Arizona, Houston, and Yale… Doubled and homered in five at-bats vs. Arizona and drove in a season-high three runs… Last start was on 3/30 vs. East Carolina (first base).
Prior to Rice: NJCAA All-American selection last year at Georgia Highlands after a breakout season that saw him lead the Chargers to the semifinals of the NJCAA World Series before falling to eventual champion Blinn... Slashed .416/.515/.841, tying for second nationally with 25 homers and ranking sixth with 85 RBI and 13th with 78 runs... Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Year after winning the triple crown (.416/25/85)... Set school records for homers, RBI, slugging percentage and on-base percentage... He slammed a career-high three homers vs. East Georgia State on 3/27 and matched his career high with six RBI... Drove in four runs or more seven times... Hit .231 with one homer and seven RBI as a freshman at Georgia Highlands... Two-year starter for coach Shane Amos at Walton HS (Marietta, GA), hitting .392 with 12 homers and 83 RBI in two seasons.
