2025: AAC All-Freshman selection who was second on the team with 53 starts (47 at second base, six at shortstop)… Led the Owls in runs (39), walks (31), stolen bases (14), and three RBI games (four)... Drove in 18 runs in the last 25 games… First freshman to lead the Owls in stolen bases since Will Ford stole 18 in 1996, and his 14 steals were the most by an Owl since Anthony Rendon had 14 in 2010… 14 steals ranked seventh in the AAC… Led the AAC with 23 double plays in conference games and was second in assists for both the season (141) and conference games (77)…Did not make an error in his last 16 games (68 chances, 10 double plays)… Drove in all three runs in the win over FAU to give David Pierce his first win at Rice, and matched that with three at Houston on 4/8, vs. USF on 4/12 and vs. Prairie View on 5/7… Homered in his second career at bat at Daikin Park on 2/28, where his father was 0x2 in his MLB career, and finished the weekend 4x9 with a homer and two RBI.
