Chargois opened the 2024 season on the injured list, but returned to action with the Marlins in June… After being on the Mariner's Opening Day roster, he was originally traded to the Marlins during the 2022 season. He was on the Marlins' Opening Day roster in 2023 and pitched in 46 games (five starts) during his first season Miami and posted a 3.61 ERA (17 ER/42.1 IP) with 18 walks and 35 strikeouts...Started five games for the club as an opener, posting a 0.00 ERA in these outings with three hits allowed, three walks, and three strikeouts over 4.1 innings. After a season in Japan in 2020, Chargois returned to the majors in May of 2021 with the Mariners before being traded to Tampa at the trading deadline. He was on the Opening Day roster for the first time in his career in 2018 after he was claimed by the Dodgers before Spring Training...Went 2-4 with a 3.34 ERA (12 ER /32.1 IP) and struck out 40 batters against 15 walks in 39 games for Los Angeles... He recorded his first win as a Dodger and his first win since 2016 , tossing a perfect inning of relief against the Diamondbacks on May 3... He Made his MLB debut on June 11, 2016, joining his former Rice teammate Tyler Duffey on the Twins... Earned first major league win vs. Cleveland, pitching 1.0 scoreless inning... Second-round pick of the Twins in 2012, he was a two-way player for the Owls and earned All-Conference USA honors as a junior after posting a 4-1 record with a 2.15 ERA and eight saves in 37.2 total innings.

Saw action in one game for the Cubs at the end of 2023, but returned to the majors in 2024 in April with Kansas City. After eight season, he was released by Minnesota in August of 2022. He set career-highs in 2021 games (64), holds (22) and walks-per-9.0 IP (4.04)...Led team in holds and ranked second in games and relief innings (62.1)...also led club with 52 scoreless appearances. He became one of the Twins most reliable arms in the bullpen in teh shsortened 2020 season, compiling a 1-1 record and 1.88 ERA in 22 games... He ranked third among qualified AL relievers in opponent OBP (.217), seventh in WHIP (0.79), eighth in opponent batting average (.153), 11th in opponent OPS (.488) and 13th in ERA (1.88)… Opened the 2019 season in the minors but was recalled to the Twins on 4/16 and threw two scoreless innings vs. Toronto that night... Began the 2018 season in the minors...Made four different stints with the Twins on the season... Was the Opener for the Twins on September 11 vs. New York-AL,Duffey was on the Twins Opening Day roster for the first time in his career in 2017 after earning call-ups in each of the two previous seasons, and went on to appear in a career-high 56 games coming out of the bullpen. He made 26 starts in 2016, finishing with a 9-12 record. He made his MLB debut with the club in August of 2015. A fifth round draft pick (160th player overall) by the Twins in 2012, Duffey was 5-1 in 10 MLB starts in his initial stint in the majors. The Houston native and former Bellaire High School star had seven saves with a 1.93 ERA in 51.1 innings in his final season at Rice in 2012. He was named the C-USA Tournament's Most Valuable Player in the Owls' run to the tourney crown that year.

Gray's MLB bio
Gray was drafted in the 13th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by Pittsburgh then traded the following winter to Tampa Bay after an all-star season in the New York-Penn League. Over the next four seasons in the Rays organization (plus the 2020 CoVID year), he slugged 99 homers and helped lead Durham to the 2022 AAA World Series title. He returned to Durham in 2023 and was called up to the Rays for a game in Baltimore on 9/17 and made the most of it, going 2x5 including a 415-foot home run to put the Rays up 2-1 in the eighth inning. He became the fourth member of the Owls' 2017 C-USA Champions to reach the majors, joining Glenn Otto, Ford Proctor and Dane Myers. He signed with Miami as a free agent for the 2024 season, where he was reunited with his former Rice roommate Dane Myers. He was added to the major league roster on May 12 and made his National League debut that night against the Phillies. He was claimed by Oakland off waivers at the start of September and made his debut for the A's against the Rangers on September 1.

Meyers' MLB bio
Two-way star for the Owls, who was drafted in the sixth round by Detroit as a pitcher in 2017, Meyers posted an 8-10 record, 4.04 ERA, and 1.23 ERA in 42 career appearances (33 starts) from 2017-19. After the cancellation of the 2020 season, he switched to become a position player in 2021 and rose to AAA the following year. He signed with Miami as a six-year free agent before 2023 and hit a combined .335 before earning a call-up on July 3. He debuted on July 4 vs. St. Louis, collecting a pair of singles and driving in a run. He hit safely in his first three games, matching Mark Quinn for the best start by a Rice hitter in the majors. In 2024 he was reunited with his former roommate at Rice (Tristan Gray) after Gray signed with the Marlins' organization in the offseason.

2011, Washington Nationals, Round: 1, Overall Pick: 6 After leading the Nationals to their first World Series title in 2019, defeating his hometown Houston Astros in seven games, Rendon was one of the most coveted free agents and signed a long-term contract with the Angles... In his final season in Washington in 2019, he recorded a career-high 44 doubles and a career-high 70 extra-base hits in 2018... He led the club and ranked in the National League in doubles (T1st, 44), batting average (4th, .308), slugging percentage (6th, .535), and extra-base hits (9th, 70)... Finalist for the Rawlings Gold Glove Award (NL 3B)… He ranked fifth in the National League with a .909 OPS and ranked 11th in on-base percentage (.374)...According to FanGraphs.com, ranked second in the National League in Wins Above Replacement (6.3)... He made headlines in early May of 2017 in a game vs. the Mets when he was 6x6 with three home runs and 10 RBI. A first-round pick of the Nationals in 2011 and the sixth player selected overall, Rendon made his MLB debut with the club in 2013.
