2024: Made three appearances in relief for the Owls… Made his debut vs. LSU where he worked 0.1 innings and recorded his first career strikeout… Worked a season-long 0.2 innings with a strikeout vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi, retiring the first two in the ninth before Reed Gallant came on to finish off the 5-2 win.
Prior to Rice: Transfer from Weatherford College where he posted a 4.31 ERA in 15 appearances (five starts) for the Coyotes, who advanced to the NJCAA Division I World Series and finished third … Fanned 37 in 31.1 innings … Prepped at Memorial HS in Houston for coach Jeremy York as did current Rice teammates Ben Dukes, Jackson Mayo, Jack Riedel, and Tom Vincent … Averaged 12.8 strikeouts per nine innings … Played defenseman on a top 50 16U AA hockey travel team.
