2205 Made 16 appearances (nine starts) in his final season with the Owls… Tied for second on the team with three wins… Tied for the AAC lead with only one home run allowed in conference games, but did not meet the innings threshold to lead for the season… Gave up one homer in 54.2 innings in 2025 and just seven in 327.2 career innings… Charged with 10 unearned runs this year. .. 2-4 with a 4.60 ERA in 15 career AAC starts (58.1, 61, 41, 30, 21, 26)… 1-2 with a 5.92 ERA in six starts in 2025 (24.1, 32, 20, 16, 10, 6).. 2024: Third on the Owls with 14 starts and was 1-4 with a 4.07 ERA… TIed for third in AAC games in earned runs allowed (14) Missed the start of the season while recuperating from an injury and made his debut as an Owl with a scoreless inning against HCU on 3/17… Did not allow a run in his first three starts (HCU, Houston, and Tulane), all at Reckling Park, and went on to post a 1-3 record and 2.45 ERA in eight starts at home (8 ER in 29.1 IP) and holding opponents to a .218 batting average… Worked three scoreless against eventual conference champion Tulane (3,1,0,0,2,0) to set the pace for a 4-2 Rice win… Longest outing of the year was vs. UTSA on 4/28 when he worked 6.1 shutout innings, allowed just two hits, and struck out five… Seven of his 19 outs came on the first pitch… Earned his first career win at Rice on Senior Day, downing FAU 5-4 (5.1,4,1,1,1,4)…. 1-3 with a 3.13 ERA in nine daytime starts.
Prior to Rice: Grad transfer who returns home to Houston after twice earning All-America and Landmark Conference Pitcher of the Year honors at Catholic University of America in Washington DC … Was 6-2 with a 2.58 ERA as a senior and struck out 83 in 66.1 innings (11.3 K/9) … Compiled a 25-7 career record and 2.49 ERA while striking out 260 in 231.0 innings (10.13 K/9) with seven career complete games … His 25 career wins set the school record and he ranks in the top five in the Landmark Conference career rankings in wins, ERA, winning percentage, games started, innings pitched, and strikeouts … Struck out a career-high 117 in 92.1 innings as a junior, highlighted by a career-best 14 vs. Scranton on 4/24/22 … Two-year starter for coach at Houston’s St. Thomas High School where he earned 2018 TAPPs Second Team All-District and 2019 TAPPs First Team All-District honors.
