Earned second-team American All-Conference honors while anchoring second base for the Owls… Led the Owls with a .330 batting average, the highest mark by an Owl since Braden Comeaux hit .346 in 2021… Also led the squad with 20 multi-hit and 13 multi-run games… Second on the team with 42 runs, 62 hits, 38 RBI, and 15 two-out RBI… Led the Owls and was third in the American with 32 double plays on defense… First Owl to earn American Player of the Week honors after hitting .600 and driving in 11 runs, including a .667 average, 10 RBI, and six runs in the sweep of UAB (5/1-3) … Became the first Owl since 2019 with a five-hit game with a 5x6 effort vs A&M CC on 4/7… Hit three homers in 277 at-bats in his career at Weatherford College before transferring to Rice and hitting four in his first 33 at-bats with the Owls… Three of those homers came against Northwestern in the opening weekend of the season as he hit .636 in his D-I debut… Hit .385 at Reckling with 14 of his 20 multi-hit games… Had a pair of six-game hitting streaks (3/14-22 and 4/28-5/9) … Hit better than .300 in conference against UAB (.500), Charlotte (.385), and FAU and Wichita State (.333).
