Owls Collide at Reckling This Weekend

First of three at 6:30 Friday
Week 3 of the 2022 Conference USA regular season will see Rice host Florida Atlantic at Reckling Park for the first time since 2018. Game times are set for 6:30 Friday, 2:00 Saturday and 12:30 on Sunday.

The Owls have faced each other 24 times since the Florida chapter joined C-USA. Rice won the first eight meetings, but FAU has won 10 of the last 16 including the last five in a row. Rice's last three wins in the series have come in the C-USA Championship (all in Biloxi. MS). The last game of the more recent series at Reckling (4/22/18) resulted in the first tie game in the stadium's history (6-6) as Rice saw the game called by curfew with a pair of runners on and no one out in the bottom of the ninth.
