2024: Led the Owls in slugging (.574), total bases (128), runs (46), and home runs (career-high 17) and was second with the first three triples of his career… 17 homers were the most by an Owl since Anthony Rendon hit 26 in 2010 and tied for the conference lead and fell one shy of reaching the Owls’ single-season top 10 (Mark Quinn with 18 in 1995)…. Ranked fifth in the AAC in slugging and total bases, tied for fifth with three triples in all games, and led the AAC with three triples in conference games… Led the team with a .500 average at the AAC tournament (5x10), including a two-homer game vs. UAB to lead Rice to its first win in the AAC championship with a 9-0 win… Made 48 starts at shortstop after making no starts there in his first two years at Rice… One of two Owls (Treyton Rank) who started every game in 2024… 59 starts were the most by an Owl since 2019… Third on the team with a .304 average at home (38x125) with 10 homers and 23 RBI... 2023: Blistered opposing pitching at a .379 clip over the final 23 games (33x87) to raise his average from .202 on 4/14 to .290 (second on the team) … Led the team with 13 doubles and tied for the team lead with 58 hits on the season and with a .341 average and .538 slugging percentage in C-USA games … Tied for eighth in the conference with nine doubles along with Aaron Smigelski … Hit in a career-best 16 straight from 4/15-5/13, the longest streak by an Owl since Braden Comeaux had a 16-game streak in 2018… Drove in 23 runs in his last 23 games, including a career and team-best six vs. Houston on 5/10 to finish third on the team ... Slammed a pair of homers vs. DBU on 4/29 (the first measured by StatCast at 454 feet) and then vs. Houston on 5/1 ... 2022: Appeared in 46 games, including 40 starts divided between third (20 starts), second (14) and first (6)… Hit .269 on the season and was third on the team with a .284 average in C-USA action… In the Opening Night lineup at second base and picked up his first hit as an Owl the following night… Tied for second on the team with four, three-hit games… First three-hit effort came in the opening game of the Silver Glove Series against Houston on 3/11 including his first home run… Went on to hit .273 in the three games and was named to the All Silver-Glove team at the end of year… Put together a nine-game hitting streak from 3/27 to 4/12, including four consecutive multi-hit games from 4/3-4/9… Slugged the Owls’ first pinch hit homer since 2018 and the first at home since 2011 to start a two-out rally vs. Middle Tennessee on 5/14 to force the game into extra innings.
