2020: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Appeared in one game before the collegiate season came to an early end… Pitched one-third of an inning in relief against Louisiana… Walked one batter in the bottom of the eighth.
2019: Appeared five times in relief in first season in Division I baseball… All but one outing was at home, where he held opposing hitters to a composite .143 batting average when pitching at Reckling Park… Recorded five strikeouts in 3.2 innings, an average of 12.3 strikeouts per 9.0 IP… Maintained a 2.5-to-1 strikeouts-to-walk ratio… Made his collegiate debut at home against nationally-ranked Texas and pitched 1.1 innings without allowing an earned run… Fired a pair of scoreless frames against longtime local rivals Texas State and Prairie View… Also saw action against west coast power UC Irvine and eventual C-USA regular season champion Florida Atlantic.
A 2018 graduate of Campbell Hall High School in Los Angeles, Calif…. Three-year right-handed starter for the baseball program… Coached by Brad Himes… Pitched 54.2 innings for the Vikings as senior in 2018, recording 56 strikeouts with a 4.23 ERA… Versatile prep student-athlete who played football.
