Rice -- Returns to the soccer field for the first time in three years... Anxious to contribute to the team... Used speed and athleticism to make an impact in Conference USA her first season in the league in 2005... Effective up front or in the midfield... Outstanding passer... 2007: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Sat out the entire season as a redshirt... 2006: Was injured prior to the start of the season and sat out the entire year... 2005: C-USA Tournament Offensive MVP; C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Academic Medalist; C-USA All-Academic; Named the Owls[apos] rookie of the year and earned the team award as the assists leader... Set new school-records for assists in a season (9) and single game (3)... Tied for third in C-USA assists... Passed out a school record three assists in a win over Texas Southern and notched two assists in victories over Stephen F. Austin and Tulane, as well as East Carolina in the semifinals of the C-USA tournament... Voted the C-USA tournament MVP after tallying three goals (two game-winners) and two assists in leading the Owls to the championship title... Tallied a pair of goals in the tournament final, a 3-0 win over UTEP... Scored the only goal of the game in the opening round win over UAB... Had goals in the regular season win over East Carolina and Texas Southern, and scored the game-winner against Texas State... Took eight shots in the victory over Texas State, the third-highest single-game total in Rice history... Led the team and was tenth in the conference with the highest single-season shots total (62) in school history... Took 24 shots on goal as a true freshman, the fourth-highest total at Rice.
Club -- Played for Sting 87 Royal, the 2005 Region III club champion and a national tournament participant... Led squad to a third place national finish in 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006... Most valuable player of the 2003 Alamo Cup... Coached by indoor soccer star Tatu and Billy Phillips.
High School -- A 2005 graduate of Ursuline Academy... Four-year starter for a team that won 15 consecutive TAPPS state championships... Named the District 1-6A most valuable player and offensive MVP as a senior... Twice earned first team all-district accolades... First team all-area selection by the Dallas Morning News... Served as team captain... Coached by Jamie Cantrell.
