2022: Appeared in a career-high 16 games and struck out a career-best 50 in 45.2 innings while posting a career-best 4.73 ERA… Averaged 9.85 strikeouts per nine innings, the highest of his career… Made four consecutive starts from 2/26-3/19 before moving to the bullpen for the remainder of the year… Fanned a career-high nine in four innings in a start vs. Texas Tech on 3/12… Fanned six in two innings of relief work at LA Tech on 4/9… Second on the team with a 3.77 ERA at home (13 ER in 31 IP)... Tied for second on the team with a career-high 50 strikeouts... Tossed two scoreless innings out of the pen at Sam Houston on 4/12... Worked a team-high 4.0 innings in relief vs. FAU on 4/2 (4,5,2,2,0,4) but was tagged with the loss... 2021: Worked a career-high 53.2 innings as he completed a return to the mound for his first consistent action since 2018… Tied for the team lead with 13 starts and did not allow a run in his first two outings (4,3,0,0,0.3 vs. HBU on 2/22 and 4,1,0,0,2,8 at Louisiana on 2/28)… Eight strikeouts vs. Louisiana were a career-high… Tossed a six-inning complete game (first of his career) in the first game of the UAB doubleheader on 5/8.
2020: Saw his rehab effort cut short… Returned to action with a start at UC Irvine on 2/21, where he was only scheduled to throw 2.0 innings… Struck out three of the eight batters he faced… Only baserunners came by a pair of hit batters… Did not appear again in the shortened season.
2019: Was sidelined for the season just as practices began in January.
2018: Tied for second on the team second with 11 starts, tied for third with three wins… fourth 52 innings, and fifth with 45 strikeouts and a .251 opponents’ batting average (fifth)… Pitched at least 5.0 innings in a game six times… Fanned 7 in 6.1 innings in a win over No. 11 TCU… Matched the seven strikeouts in C-USA starts vs. Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion… Notched a career-long 7.0 innings for a win over the ODU … Averaged 7.8 strikeouts per 9.0 innings… Particularly tough once two outs were recorded in the inning, holding hitters to a composite .120 batting average… Contributed four relief appearances totaling 10.2 innings, with 1.69 ERA and.194 opponents average.

Member of the National Honor Society.
