2025: Made 50 starts for the Owls and found a home in right field over the final 21 games and led the Owls in slugging over that stretch (.500, five doubles, one triple, three home runs) … Rice was 7-3 at home over that stretch… Went 3x5 with two doubles and a triple in Rice’s 10-3 win at Memphis on 4/17 to five David Pierce his 500th career coaching victory… Did not homer in his first 106 at-bats before connecting vs. USF and went on to hit a career-high four in his next 50 at-bats… Slammed a two-run homer vs. Prairie View on 5/7 and then hit the first walk-off homer of his career two nights later in the 13th inning against Wichita State… Scored a run in seven consecutive games from (4/8-4/18)… Hit .295 at home with all four of his home runs.
