2021: Hit .270 for the Owls in his first full season (.279 in conference play) on South Main… Third on the team with seven home runs… Played in all 44 games (39 starts) and has started 60 of 65 in his two seasons… Opened the season by slugging a three-run homer vs. HBU in his first at-bat of the year, but was hitting only .182 through the first 13 games (6x33) before slugging a dramatic, three-run homer vs. UTSA on 3/27 as part of a six-run rally to give the Owls a walk-off win…Drove in four that game, one of three four-RBI efforts on the season to lead the team… Hit .296 over his final 31 games (32x108) and tied for second on the team with an 11-game, on-base streak. 2021 summer: MVP of the Valley League over the summer, slashing at .379/.424/.661 for the Winchester Royals with seven homers and 40 RBI…
2020: Started all 16 games in his first year at the Division I level … One of three Owls to start every game… Led the team in at-bats (69) and home runs (2), and was second on the squad in hits (18) and RBI (7)… Showed versatility making starts at three different positions, including first base (8 times), third base (6 times,) and second base (twice)… Usually batted third or fourth in the lineup (14 times)… Blasted home runs in home games against Texas and Missouri State… Collected two or more hits in a game six times to share the team lead… Tallied a pair of three-hit games against Missouri State and nationally-ranked Texas Tech… Reached base at a .364 pace (4-for-11) when leading off an inning.
Before Rice: Joined the Owls after playing the 2019 season at Wake Tech College in Raleigh, NC… Started 35 of the Eagles' 43 games… Led the team in batting average (.381), hits (53), home runs (8), RBI (34), doubles (16), and slugging (.669)… Finished second on the squad in runs (34) and steals (18)… The team finished the year with a 28-15 record under head coach Eric Sibrizzi… Played a year of Division II baseball at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania in 2018… Hit a home run and a double while playing in ten games as a true freshman for a 28-24 Raiders squad… Drove in a total of five runs and scored four times (in ten games played)… Played third base in an accomplished prep career at Jefferson H.S. in his hometown of Shepherdstown, W.Va.
