Owls Honored For 13th-Straight Year
United Soccer Coaches News Release
The Rice Soccer program was named a United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award winner for its exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2019-20 academic year, the organization announced on Sept. 24.
A total of 556 women's teams from multiple divisions across the country were honored. College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2019-20 academic year.
The honor is a familiar one for Rice Soccer. The Owls have earned the organization's academic honor for each of the last 13 seasons. The full list of honored programs, and original news release, are available at the above links.
