Reuscher, Chancey Headline All-Region Teams

HOUSTON – The Rice soccer team saw two earn recognitions on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams, with Lilly Reuscher and Leah Chancey earning the honors.
Reuscher was selected to the All-South Region Second Team, while Chancey earned a spot on the All-South Region Third Team.
Reuscher helped guide the defensive line all season, playing a full 90 minutes in 15 of Rice's 20 matches this season. An All-Conference Third Team selection this year, Reuscher contributed to five shoutouts by the Owl defense this season.
Chancey secured back-to-back seasons on the All-Conference First Team, following a tremendous season leading Rice with 10 goals and eight assists for 28 points. She led the conference in goals per game, points per game, and assists, while being second in goals and points. Chancey had a streak of six-consecutive games with a goal this season.
Rice completed the 2025 season with a 10-4-6 record, reaching the American Conference Tournament championship game.
