In Brief: Rice took five of seven singles matches and spit four doubles matches to complete play for Rice at the Orlando Invitational at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.

Doubles: The Owls improved to 7-4 on the weekend by splitting four matches on Sunday.

Singles: Rice won four of six vs. Texas Tech and five of seven overall to close out the weekend. Anna Bowtell and Linda Huang both improved to 3-0 on the weekend with their wins. Huang bounced back from a loss in a second-set tiebreaker to win in three sets, while Bowtell did not lose a game.
