2025: Appeared in a career-high 14 games, including one start and set a career-high with 24 strikeouts in his final season on South Main… Opened the year with three shutout innings vs. pre-season #1 Virginia at the Puerto Rico Baseball Challenge in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Earned his first win since his freshman season in 2021 with a sparkling seven innings of four-hit relief vs. Houston Christian to give Rice a split of the four-game series… Fanned a career-high seven vs. the Huskies… Made his first career start since his collegiate debut in 2021 and worked 4.1 innings vs. Texas Southern on 3/26.
2024: Made five appearances after missing all of 2023 with an injury… Returned to action with a scoreless inning vs. LSU on 2/28… Credited with his second career save when he came on to get the final out vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi on 4/10… Also worked a scoreless inning in the Owls’ 8-6 win at Lamar on 5/1.
2023: Did not see any action during the season... Played for the Fond Du Lac DockSpiders in the Northwoods League in the summer and was second on the team with 42 strikeouts and 16 appearances (2 starts)… Finished league play with a 2-2 record, 3.03 ERA and 1.26 WHIP.
2022: Appeared in a career-high 12 games, all in relief… Struck out a season-high two in back-to-back appearances vs. Harvard (3/6) and Texas Tech (3/13)… Worked scoreless innings vs. Lamar (2/26), Harvard (3/5 Game 1), Texas A&M CC (3/30) and Middle Tennessee (5/15).
2021: Posted a 2-1 record in 11 games (one start) in his first collegiate action… Opened the year by throwing 9.1 scoreless innings in a pair of relief outings and picked up a win in his debut (2/22 vs. HBU)… Combined with starter Roel Garcia on a three-hit shutout of the Huskies, with Garcia closing the game out with five hitless innings (5,0,0,0,2,5)… Five strikeouts were his season-high… Tossed 4.2 shutout innings at Louisiana in his next outing (2/27)… Made his starting debut vs. Texas State on 3/7, taking the loss (2,5,3,31,1)… Allowed just one home run in 26.1 innings and none over his last 15 innings.
Prior to Rice: Compiled a 2-0 record, a 1.71 ERA, 22 strikeouts, .123 opponents’ batting average, and 0.796 WHIP in 16.1 innings at Flower Mound Marcus HS when the 2020 season came to an early end… Named a Rawlings PerfectGame Preseason All-America Honorable Mention, as well as a First Team Texas Region All-High School Senior by the same organization… Played summer ball for STIX and was named to the all-tournament team at the 2019 WWBA World Championship held in Jupiter, Fla.
