2024: Reached career highs across the board, including wins (4), innings pitched (77.1), starts (15), and strikeouts (65)… Tied for the team lead with 15 starts and second in wins, innings and strikeouts…. Ranked tenth in the AAC with 77.1 innings and tied for fifth with five homers allowed… Ended the season having made 26 consecutive starts without missing a turn in the rotation… 2-4 with a 4.64 ERA in eight starts at home this year and allowed just one homer in 42.2 innings… 2-6 with a 4.52 ERA in his career at Reckling (42 ER in 83.2 IP) over 17 games (15 starts)… Tossed six shutout innings and held East Carolina to just two hits in the Owls’ first ever game in the AAC tournament, bouncing back from a rough outing against the Pirates in Greenville four days earlier (1,1,4,2,4,1)… Earned his fourth win of the year while working into the ninth vs. UTSA on 4/27 (8.1, 6,3,3,3,2)…. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park in nearly two years… Named to the AAC Honor roll for his efforts, was the only AAC pitcher of the four contenders for the Golden Spikes Award Performance of the Week, and was the highest scoring AAC pitcher (tied for seventh nationally) in D1Baseball's weekly ranking of the top pitching performances as compiled by 6-4-3 Charts using Bill James game score formula.
2023: Finished second on the team with 13 starts, 71.2 innings, and 58 strikeouts in his first extensive collegiate action … Closed the regular season strongly, posting a 3.29 ERA over his last two starts, highlighted by a C-USA Pitcher of the Week performance vs. FIU to set the stage for the Owls’ postseason-clinching wi n… Held the Panthers to a first-inning double over 7.2 innings while striking out six and walking just two … Retired 17 in a row at one point vs. the Panthers ... Struck out a season-high seven in five innings vs. DBU … Opened the year with a start vs. Louisiana in the opening series then made five appearances in relief before making a midweek start vs. Texas A&M on 3/8 where he was tagged with his first career loss … Worked 3.2 scoreless innings in relief vs. HCU on 3/12 and then returned to the starting rotation when C-USA play began … Made 10 starts in conference play, nine in the second spot in the rotation while opening the Middle Tennessee series … 1-3 with a 4.69 ERA in 10 conference starts (48, 44, 31, 25,21, 36)… Earned the win over UTSA on 3/25 … Held righthanded hitters to a .226 average (40x177).
Tennessee: Made three appearances for the Vols in 2022…Gave up three runs in 0.1 innings in his debut vs. Bellarmine on 4/19 but did not allow run in three innings over his final two appearances… Struck out a pair vs. Alabama A&M on 5/3.
Prior to Tennessee: Division II All-State selection and Tennessee’s Division II Mr. Baseball as a senior at Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro in 2021… Posted a perfect 9-0 record with a 0.13 ERA and 103 strikeouts in 53.0 innings pitched and also batted .420 with five homers and 40 RBIs as a senior in 2021.. Struck out 16 to set the school single-game record and set season records for ERA (0.13), wins (9), shutouts (4), WHIP (0.60) and opponent batting average (.114)…Graduated with school records for lowest career ERA (0.47) and career strikeouts (218)… Participated in Perfect Game 2020 National Showcase and ranked as the No. 279 player overall and No. 12 player in Tennessee by Perfect Game.
