2020: Led the team in hitting (.349) and slugging percentage (.535), and was second on the squad in runs scored (7), on-base average (.404) and home runs (1) – all while playing in just ten of the team’s 16 games during the abbreviated collegiate season… Every game played was as the starting third baseman… Was sidelined for two weeks, but returned to go a combined 5-for-10 with a pair of doubles, three RBI and four runs scored in his first two games back vs. nationally-ranked Texas Tech on the road in Lubbock… One of only two Rice players with four hits in a game, and was the only Owl to do it twice (vs. Texas Tech and Texas)… One of two Owls with two doubles in a game… Lone home run of the season, the sixth of his collegiate career, was at home against the Longhorns… Batted leadoff every game he played… Reached base at a .313 pace (5-of-16) when leading off an inning… Reached base safely in eight of his ten games played… Batted .333 with runners in scoring position… Defense did not miss a beat, maintaining a .906 fielding percentage and starting three double plays from spot on the hot corner.

Joined the Owls as a sophomore transfer from LSU-Eunice, the No. 2 junior college program in the nation under head coach Jeff Willis... Started 55 games for the Bengals, primarily at shortstop... Batted .377 with 53 runs scored, 49 RBI, a .447 on-base percentage and 30 stolen bases... Hit four home runs with 13 doubles to help team finish with a 46-11 record...
