Women Netters to Face Ranked Foes This Weekend

The Rice women's tennis team will face a pair of stern tests this weekend when they meet a pair of teams ranked the in top 40 this weekend in Seattle, Washington.
The Owls will open their weekend schedule against 40th ranked Sacramento State at 1 p.m. and follow that with a match against 34th ranked Washington at noon on Sunday. Live results for the match against the Huskies will be available on Sunday. Both matches this weekend will be held at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle.
The Owls head into the weekend tied for 75th in the latest Campbell's/International Tennis Association rankings.
They will be back on the Hess Stadium courts on Wednesday to meet Lee College in a match that was added to the schedule to make up for earlier matches with St. Mary's and Fresno State that were postponed by weather.
