Limited to eight games due to a midseason injury, but returned to action and logged a key early sack in the season finale at UTEP….Started the first five games before being injured early vs. LA Tech… Credited with a career-high nine tackles vs. Wake Forest, one better than his previous high of eight in the season opener at Army… Shared sacks vs. Baylor and LA Tech before registering a solo sack for a loss of a 11 yards vs. UTEP to help set up the Owls opening touchdown... Named to Phil Steele’s All-CUSA preseason fourth team.
2018
Led the team with six sacks and 6.5 TFL... Sack total ranked 14th in C-USA in all games and was seventh in conference games... Sacked North Texas’ Mason Fine three times in Denton, the first Owl to have three sacks in a game since Brian Womac at UTSA in 2017... Made his first career start in the opener and sparked the Owls’ fourth quarter comeback vs. Prairie View with a sack and forced fumble setting up Austin Walter’s second touchdown and draw the Owls to 28-26... Has matched his career high in tackles twice this year, vs. Houston and at Wake Forest.
2017
Saw action in 11 games in his first collegiate action, and was credited with nine tackles (three of them for a loss of 10 yards)… Picked up his first career tackle at Houston… Recorded his first career sack at Pitt for a loss of six yards… Credited with a game-best four tackles vs. Army, including one for a loss of three.

Redshirted in his first year on campus.
Hendrickson High School
First team All-State (TAPSE) and District 13-6A Defensive MVP as the Hawks finished 9-3 and won the district title ... Compiled 78 tackles as a senior, 18 for loss (15 sacks) while forcing four fumbles and blocking three field goals as a senior ... Finished his career with 199 tackles with 30 for loss (27 sacks) ... Also runs the 400 meters in track ... National Honor Society member and Academic All-State honorable mention ... Served as an office in FCS and active in the Business Professionals of America and the Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering.
