2017
Became a consistent force along the defensive front wall as a sophomore, earning All Conference USA Honorable Mention honors from league coaches... Finished the year with 32 tackles (21/11) and led all C-USA interior linemen with 6.5 sacks... Credited with a career-best two sacks vs. North Texas to close out the year and move into a tie with Scott Solomon (2009) for 10th on the Rice single season list... All of his sacks came against C-USA competition... Added a third tackle for loss vs. North Texas to establish another career high... Recorded his season high of four tackles four times during the year (at Houston, FIU, Army and North Texas)... Force a fumble at UTSA.
