Ratkovic Named American Women’s Tennis Player of the Week

IRVING – Junior Divna Ratkovic earned Rice women's first American Conference weekly honor of the spring 2026 season.
The No. 42 Rice Owls improved to 7-3 this season and are coming off a 6-1 win at Sam Houston last weekend. Ratkovic went 2-0 in the match, earning a 6-0, 6-2 singles victory and teaming with Ema Mravcova for a 6-2 doubles win.
Ratkovic also clinched a match earlier this season against conference foe UTSA, securing the final point in a 6-1 team win with a 6-2, 6-2 singles victory.
Rice returns to action this weekend, hosting Louisiana and UAB at the George R. Brown Tennis Center on March 7-8.
