Golf Duo in Top 20 at William H. Tucker Intercollegiate

Albuquerque, N.M. — Redshirt junior Henry Daly and senior Lukas Boandl are in the Top 20 after two rounds of the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, played at UNM Golf Course.
Daly is tied for sixth-place at -5. He opened the day by firing a team-best 68 before closing with a 71. He now has six career rounds in the 60's. He also has five rounds of par or better this year and 12 in his career.
Boandl sits at -3 in a tie for 18th-place. He began with a 71, then followed with a 70. He now has five rounds of par or better this year and 43 in his career, tying him with Raghav Chugh (2021-25) for fourth-place on the school all-time list.
Sophomore Daniel Zou is tied for 62nd-place at +2. He opened with a 72, his fourth round or par or better this year and the 25th of his career, before closing with a 74.
Junior Reggie Zhu began his day with a 77, but followed it up with a 72, to sit in an 83rd-place tie at +5. The 72 is the 20th round of par or better of his career.
Redshirt junior Davis Byrd is tied for 96th-place after rounds of 77-75 to sit at +8.
The Owls are in 13th-place at -2. They opened with an even par 288 before carding a 286.
Host New Mexico leads the team competition at -18, two strokes in front of Colorado. UNM's Emil Albers leads the individual tournament at -9, one stroke ahead of Grand Canyon's Matthew Diehl and Ben Gratzl of Oral Roberts.
