Men’s Golf Continues Play at NCAA Athens Regional

Athens, Ga. — The Rice Men's Golf team continued play at the NCAA Athens Regional, played at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Ga.
The Owls carded a 12-over par 296 to put them in 12th-place at +7.
Senior Lukas Boandl is tied for 31st-place at even par after carding a 74. Sophomore Daniel Zou had the best round of the day, posting a 73 to sit at +1 in a tie for 39th-place.
Freshman Raines Watson and junior Reggie Zhu carded 75's Watson is tied for 47th-plae at +3, while Zhu is a shot back in a tie for 52nd-place. Redshirt junior Henry Daly is tied for 63rd-place at +6 after posting a 74.
No. 13 Vanderbilt leads the team competition at -22, three strokes in front of No. 36 Louisville. Vanderbilt's Will Hartman leads the individual competition at -12, one stroke in front of Louisiana's Malan Potgieter.
