Men's Golf Closes Play at William H. Tucker Intercollegiate

Albuquerque, N.M. — The Rice men's golf team finished play Saturday afternoon at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate.
Senior Lukas Boandl and redshirt junior Henry Daly tied for 27th-place at -1. Boandl shot a 74, while Daly carded a 76.
Sophomore Daniel Zou tied for 62nd-place at +3 after posting a 73. Junior Reggie Zhu shot a 76 to finish +8 in an 86th-place tie, and redshirt junior Davis Byrd tied for 98th-place at +14 after closing with a 78.
The Owls carded an 11-over 299 to finish +10 in 17th-place.
Long Beach State won the team competition at -23, five strokes in front of host New Mexico. UNM's Emil Albers earned medalist honors at -13, one stroke ahead of Grand Canyon's Matthew Diehl.
