Men’s T&F Splits Between UH and Boston

HOUSTON – The Rice Owls men's track & field team will take part in two meets starting tomorrow, with some athletes competing at the Howie Ryan Invitational at UH, while others will be competing at the David Hemery Valentine Invite at Boston University.
In total, the Owls will have 20 athletes competing across 12 events. Rice is one of 17 teams competing at UH this weekend, including AAC foe UTSA.
Last week, the men had a strong showing in New Mexico with seven top-10 finishers. Cal Abdulky took second in the weight throw, while Alexander Slinkman was third in the pole vault.
