In Brief: The Rice women's tennis team takes on #3 Texas A&M at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the George R. Brown Tennis Center as part of a combined dual with the Rice men's team who will face LSU.
Promotions: The Oh My Gogi! food truck, Houston's first Korean-Mexican fusion food truck, will be in front of GRBTC on Saturday and the first 125 fans will receive two free tacos.

The Owls: Rice is 2-1 so far this season, posting a 7-0 wins over Lamar at home and Louisiana indoors at AD IN, while dropping a gripping 4-3 decision to Baylor in Waco on January 23.
The Series: Texas A&M leads the series with Rice 25-10 since 1982 and has won three straight duals after Rice won back-to-back matches in 2017 & 2018. The Owls' 4-1 win in College Station over the 15th ranked Aggies in 2017 was Rice's first over A&M since 2000 while the 4-3 victory at GRBTC gave Rice back-to-back wins in the series for the first time since 1999 & 2000. Texas A&M won the most recent meeting, 4-1 in College Station last year while the first two wins in the Aggies current streak were consecutive 4-3 cliffhangers in Austin in the first round of the 2018 and 2019 NCAA Championship.

They are the highest-ranked women's team to play at GRBTC since its first dual season in 2015 and the highest-ranked squad hosted by Rice since the Owls faced top-ranked Stanford in 2014. Rice is 0-3 vs. top ten teams at GRBTC, losing to #7 Texas Tech in 2018 and #8 Tech in 2016.
George R. Brown Tennis Center: Rice has posted a 66-15 regular-season record at GRBTC (11-0 in C-USA play) since making their debut at their new home by defeating Lamar 7-0 on 1/17/15. The Owls have also posted a 6-0 postseason mark while winning a pair of Conference USA titles at home (2015 & 2019).
