Cheer On The Owls From Reckling Park
The Rice Soccer team has advanced to their first ever NCAA Women's Soccer Championship Sweet 16! We are inviting everyone to support the Owls at a free, physically distanced watch party Wednesday night at Reckling Park. Come on out and watch #22 Rice face off against #13 Virginia at 8 pm for a bid to the Elite 8 on the big screen!
Please see below for important details about the event. Fans will be permitted to sit in the outfield grass (no lawn chairs permitted).
Location | Reckling Park at Rice University. Entry to the ballpark at main entrance.
Parking | Lot 6 (click here for campus map)
Time | Gates open at 7pm and first touch is at 8pm.
Food & Drink | Fans can bring their own food and drink. No nuts, seeds or alcohol permitted in the outfield grass. Fans can also bring their own food and use the charcoal grills on the hill. Free Karbach beer will be available in the Roost, but must be consumed in the patio area only.
COVID-19 Protocols | Masks are encouraged for all attendees, but are only required inside the restrooms. For more information about the Rice COVID-19 campus policies, click here.
