At Rice -- 2008: C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Academic Honor Roll... Made two appearances out of the bullpen... Did not allow any runs on two hits in 1.0 inning of work... NCAA debut was two-thirds of an inning in the opening game of the Silver Glove Trophy series vs. crosstown rival Houston... Hit a batter and recorded first career strikeout against the Cougars... Pitched the following week against Michigan State... 2007: Sat out first season with the Owls... Played in the Texas Collegiate League (Weatherford) in the summer.
